Studio Nights at The Painter’s House are painting classes for all levels of experience. Nestled in a Heights bungalow, we have a cozy space for those who want to begin an art practice, explore ways to progress on your own projects, or simply want to paint alongside others. This is a dedicated time for nurturing your creative instincts.
Our workshops focus on painting and drawing as tools for personal expression, while incorporating mindfulness exercises in a small group setting, aimed to break through creative blocks and find your flow.

Open Studio Workshop BYO-P
Bring your own painting or illustration idea, project, or work on a prompt. Work at your own pace—completing a piece in one session or refining it over several. An instructor is there for guidance with techniques, providing perspective, and developing a project idea.
Need ideas? Paint a pet or people you admire. A photo of a your house, a memory, or favorite place. Plants, flowers, abstract colors, galaxy, a gift for someone, or décor for the walls. A hand-painted sign.
Intuitive Arts: Painting Through the Artists' Eyes
Let go of perfectionism, build trust in your own instincts, and create art from within. Each week, we’ll explore an Artist or art genre, engage in a hands-on creative exercise, and use that inspiration to develop your own artwork. The instructor facilitates the Artist discovery and could support you on your painting journey. No prior experience needed—just an open mind and a willingness to explore.
Audience: Adults of all experience levels
Medium: Acrylic and watercolor painting. All supplies provided or bring your own.
